Q: Why do I have to present a valid government issue identification when I drop items with you?

A: To eliminate the risk that we are inadvertently selling stolen gear. We keep track of serial numbers and co-co-operate with law enforcement and organizations and individuals that report stolen items.

Q: What if I do not have boxes or access to a local bike shop that can help me pack up my gear?
A: We can send you a VeloDrone. This is a box (bicycle, frameset or wheel) with return shipping labels and packing materials. Outbound and inbound expenses related to the VeloDrone will be deducted from your proceeds.

Q: What are some best practice tips for packing a bike?
A: Use a lightly used bicycle box that will fit the entire bike with some room to spare. Make sure there is no metal rubbing on carbon.

Q: What are some tips for shipping other items?
A: Use new boxes. Pack things so that they do not move around inside the box.
