About the commission
Frame and Wheel provides its services on a Cost Plus basis. This means that the seller pays the costs related to the sale of the item (eBay, Pay Pal, VeloDrone, Pick Up fees) plus a scaled commission to Frame and Wheel. The commission is 35 percent on the first five hundred dollars of the hammer price of the item and 12 percent on the amount above that. Please see the commission summary here.
Payout
Frame and Wheel pays out proceeds to sellers as soon as all the offerings are completed and all the buyers have paid. For larger orders, Frame and Wheel will aim to payout proceeds every thirty days until the order is completed. Frame and Wheel pays out proceeds using a check and provides a summary of the selling prices for each item.
Buy Out
If your item still has not sold after thirty days, we will pay you a buy out price and put the item in our inventory. The buy out price is the market price less a discount that reflects the brand and specifications; wear and tear; previous secondary market transactions for the item or its comparables; and, storage costs.
