Q: What does Frame and Wheel need to know about the items I want to sell?
A: We need a list of the items you want to sell that includes the brand, model, units and condition. We also need your full name, mailing address, email address and phone number.
Q: What condition do the items have to be in?
A: The items have to be clean, lightly used, new in original packaging or new but no longer in original packaging.
Q: What if the items I have are heavily used or damaged in some way, but still have some value?
A: We will be pleased to get these kinds of items sold using the Make it All Go Away program.
Q: What if I have something that is not exactly in these categories but still has value?
A: Just give us a call! We will take a look!
Q: How long is the offer price valid?
A: The offer price is valid for three days.
Q: What if I do not accept your offer price?
A: You can look for another buyer in your network or consider the Make It All Go Away program.
Q: What do I do if I accepted your offer price?
A: You will need to pack all your items and let us know the number of boxes you are sending to us, their dimensions and their weight. We will email you FedEx shipping labels that you can use to ship the items.
Q: Who pays for shipping?
A: We do. We provide a shipping budget with the offer price.
Q: Do you pay for shipping insurance?
A: No. Please pack your items carefully or retain your local bike shop to help you. Please see the link: Shipping Best Practice.
Q: Which shipping service do you use?
A: We use FedEx.
Q: Can I use another shipping service.
A: Yes you can, but you will have to pay for it and it will not change the offer price.
Q: When will I get paid?
A: Payment of the offer price is made by check within one business day of the arrival of the items on site and following an inspection of the items to ensure that they match the description and are sellable.
Q: Can I hire Frame and Wheel to pick up the items for me?
A: Yes. If you are located in the immediate Portland, Maine or West Palm Beach, Florida area and you have a lot of high value items, you can hire Frame and Wheel to pick up your items. Please see the page: Frame and Wheel Pick Up Zones and Costs.
